Resident Director
Meet the Doherty-Hill Family
We were the Resident Directors from September 2014 to June 2018. We had both of our children, Bennett (8) and Wesley (6) while living in the house with the scholars. Over those years we also gained 11 scholars as part of our family.
Since moving out in the summer of 2018 we moved into Clinton to settle down and continue to raise our boys in this community that we love. Travis works at Hamilton College, where he has been for 20 years, now serving as an associate dean in the Dean of Students Office. Liz has been at Mohawk Valley Community College since 2008 serving in a variety of roles including her current role as the coordinator of Career Services.
Travis and Liz have continued to be engaged in Clinton, whether serving as a Board member at the Clinton Early Learning Center, or volunteering at a variety of community events such as the Kirkland Town Library book sale and various PTA programs. In addition, they have continued to support the Clinton ABC program, Travis as a Board member and current Co-President, and Liz as a regular volunteer assisting with transportation, COVID response support, and on-boarding new Resident Directors.
Due to personal circumstances, there was a need to fill the Resident Director position for the remainder of the 2022-2023 academic year. Given our experience in the position and on-going commitment to the program, we have welcomed the adventure of reprising our role as Resident Directors now with elementary age children in hopes of offering some stability to our fantastic scholars as they head into the last quarter of their academic year.
